Pegasus Mail is a full-featured email client that offers special support for Novell networks. It can be used on a NetWare network with virtually no setup. It reads the bindery to obtain user information, eliminating the need to set up users and mail directories. As a standalone application, it can transfer Internet mail via TCP/IP Winsock through a POP3 server. On a network, it can forward Internet mail through a gateway. Full MHS and SMTP support is offered, along with notice boards, which can be used as public message areas on a LAN. Features include distribution lists, carbon and blind carbon copies, a built-in spelling checker, hierarchical mail folders for sorting and saving mail, an address book, a mail filtering feature, a user list feature for finding NetWare user names, encryption, full MAPI support, sort and search, and support for up to 64 attachments per email.
